MyDea is not launched yet. Right now this site does one thing: lets you join the waitlist, take the “Which MyDea matches your personality?” quiz, and share your MyDea. This page explains what we collect while you do that, and why. Plain words, no tricks.

What we collect

• Your email address, if you join the waitlist or lock in a MyDea.
• The MyDea you choose (for example “Creator”), so we can save it for you at launch.
• A share code made from your email, so we can tell when friends arrive through your link, and the code of the friend who invited you, if any.
• Your quiz answers, and the optional line you type about yourself, used only to pick your match.

We don’t ask for your name, phone number, location or payment details, and we don’t use advertising trackers on this site.

How we use it

• To send you one email when MyDea is ready for you, with the MyDea you picked.
• To match you with a MyDea in the quiz.
• To understand, in aggregate, how the waitlist and sharing are growing.

We don’t sell your information, and we don’t share it for anyone else’s marketing.

Who helps us run this

• Vercel hosts the website.
• Votel stores the waitlist (your email, chosen MyDea and share codes).
• Typesafe (Jev) receives your quiz answers and optional line to choose your match. It doesn’t receive your email.

Your choices

You can ask us to remove you from the waitlist, or to delete what we hold about you, at any time by replying to any email from MyDea. Every email will also include a way to unsubscribe.

Changes

When MyDea launches, the product will come with its own, fuller privacy policy. If we change this page before then, we’ll update the date at the top.
